Boston Bruins to Play 27 Games on National Television

Montreal Canadiens v Boston Bruins - Game Five

NBC has released it’s schedule for televised games for 2013-2014 and the Boston Bruins will play 27 games that will appear on NBC, NBC Sports Network or the NHL Network. The Bruins will play one game on NBC, 11 on NBC Sports Network and 13 on NHL Network. There are also two flex games that will air on either NBC or NBC Sports Network.

The Bruins’ 27 games isn’t the most though. The Philadelphia Flyers, who missed the playoffs last season, have 30 games nationally televised. But NBC’s schedule just gets weirder after that. The new Pacific Division will appear in just five games on the NBC network. The Pacific Division includes the Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, San Jose Sharks and the Anaheim Ducks, all of whom made the playoffs last season.

Below is the Bruins schedule for games on NBC, NBC Sports Network and NHL Network.
